Disability Equality in Education
invites you to be a part of history!
The Disability History Timeline Tiles are a traveling exhibit that keeps disability history visible in schools and community spaces through ongoing recirculation. Sponsorship and hosting create meaningful opportunities to give back while helping ensure these stories remain accessible and widely shared.
There is a rich history that is often missing from education. The history and contributions of disabled people throughout time have contributed to the thread of our nation's laws and have made a difference to society as a whole. It's time we recognize the great leaders and accomplishments that our students rarely hear about. Their stories will empower any student to be civic-minded and show how advocacy from the general population can contribute to lasting change.
Find out how you can sponsor this exhibit and/or have it displayed in your community.
