Disability Pride

Disability Pride is about accepting and celebrating disability as a natural part of human diversity, rather than something to be ashamed of or fixed. It's a way for people with disabilities to reclaim their identity, challenge negative stereotypes, and advocate for their rights and inclusion. Disability Pride Month, celebrated in July, commemorates the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and promotes disability culture and visibility.
