Describe This Image for Someone Who Cannot See It - Image Description Activity
This slideshow contains a series of images which students are instructed to use words to describe them. This can be used as a stand alone activity to provide a very simple introduction to writing image descriptions, or could be added on to a full lesson about accessibility.
This activity can be adjusted so that students work in pairs and one cannot or does not look at the image while the other describes it, answering questions, and the student who is not looking at the image writes or rewrites the description.
